Not long ago, I filmed a few segments for a potential new show called Walk Like A Manny. A group of really cool guys got to try to keep up with me as I took them into the everglades and other cool places. It was a blast, not just for them, but for me. It was fun watching the eyes of big tough guys when they put their face in the water right next to a big alligator or when the shark swam up to feed from their hands. Everyone told me it was the experience of a lifetime. I put a video of some of it up on the site under vids.

I want to share the cool experiences I have with others. Not just on film, but I want to give others the chance to hang with me. Here is the deal. There are two ways to get to hang with me. The first is that you can sign up for free on the homepage. On April 1, 2009, we will randomly pick one entry. That person will get to join me on one of my trips for FREE. Obviously, I expect a lot of people to sign up, so the odds are not great. That is why we have a much better chance for you to win. I have teamed up with a cool company called 5 minute mystery. They have a web site that sends a new mystery every day that you solve. The site costs $19.95 per year. The company has offered that for everyone who signs up using the link www.5minutemystery.com/mannypuig they will donate $10 to an Everglades Preservation Fund. As my way of thanking people for signing up, I am also going to pick one person from this group. I am still working out the final details for the trips as I have to work around my shooting schedule. Winners will have a choice of either an alligator adventure in the Everglades or a Shark adventure in the Middle Grounds off of Tampa. The winners will have to get to either Miami or Tampa on their own, but there will be no cost for the trip. The trip will be sometime this summer. I have not gotten my final shooting schedule so I can not give dates yet. If you win, I will work with your schedule as I really want you to experience this.

To make sure that you can share your experience with the world, I promise that video of you will appear on my web site. Who knows, it might even show up on TV or in my next DVD. How cool is that?

(My manager made me add this: you are going to have to sign liability waivers and stuff like that to go on the trip. After all, if one of these gators bites you, he does not want your lawyer biting me. I am not afraid of sharks, but lawyers…...)
